Surely some of you have played with 90's Macintoshes too.

Yes. My elementary school had those colorful iMacs. Ever played Bugdom?

I did not. My elementary schools, the first one I went to (moved) had Quadras. The 2nd one had brand new Dell Optiplexes (this was in 1998) running WINDOWS 95 :D

One thing that pisses me off about OS X, it is not very customizable in terms of GUI

for a very shot time I owned an Apple Network Server 700
But I was able to sell it for a profit, and I already had an outdated *nix machine running stuff in my closet (A Sun 3/110) so it went away...
as far a “regular” macs go though, jumped from a Plus (with the 20MB HD),
to a Color Classic
to A PowerComputing PowerCenter 120
(which I still own, and still runs fine, I had to buy a 10,000RPM Baracuda 10GB drive for it though, as the original HD failed and it was the only SCSI drive I could find ;) )
then i got a Beige G3
then I then had a mirror G4 for a while...
then I went Hackintosh for a long time....
now I’m all Linux and Windows again becuase Apple’s business policy and software direction is really starting to piss me off.

Yeah, I just moved back to Windows for my primary desktop at home. It just works for what I need it (browsing and basic Steam games.)

I have an 8" ASUS Windows (was 8, now) 10 tablet and frankly I do about 90% of all my home computing on it. It’s fine for web stuff, Netflix in bed, and even light Photoshop. I’ve always been obsessed with small computing devices and my first Hackintosh was a Dell Mini9. I Still miss Palm/HP webOS. My PrePlus and Pre3 (yes, I was one of THOSE people) were truly a full Linux-ARM device, with cleverly locked down carrier access systems...
Fucking HP

Neat design, proprietary bullshit out the wazoo, a large stepping stone in computing history. Rare as shit.
Also, the Twentieth Anniversary iMac. Always wanted one of those, too.

Fairly certain I still have an original Macintosh stashed away at my parents house somewhere. Or is it a Macintosh Classic...can’t remember, haven’t seen it in years.

I worked for a company that got bought out by HP. Our company built our appliances on Dell. We had to get rid of those really quick ;)
